Dining Under the Stars

OST Eatery, 13 High Cross, Truro | Saturday 28th September, 6.30 - 10pm

Join OST for a truly unforgettable dining experience outside their cafe as they host a special event in the square in front of the cathedral. Immerse yourself in the beauty and history of the cathedral as you enjoy a delicious three course meal & welcome nibbles, under the stars on a long table. The ambiance of the square combined with their delectable menu from local Cornwall produce is sure to create a magical dining experience – this will be the first time High Cross has been used for such an event. Tickets are £45, drinks are additional. 10% of ticket sales will be donated to Hidden Help Cornwall.

Cover will be organised if the weather isn’t in our favour, bring a blanket (just in case). Use of the OST bar, seating and loo.

Truro’s only 100% plant based restaurant, are back with their seasonal roasts on the Sunday of the Food Festival with two sittings between midday and 3pm and 5 and 8pm. Their three course set lunch menu will include autumnal favourites, seasonal ingredients and fresh produce all lovingly prepared to make an amazing vegan roast. Think warming squash & sweet potato soup or homemade focaccia with olive oil & balsamic followed by beetroot, green lentil & butternut wellington served with caramelised pear & onion stuffing, crispy balsamic seasalt sprouts, cauli cheese topped with breadcrumbs, vegan parmesan & smoked seasalt, roasted seasonal veg, rosemary & red wine gravy, carrots & tenderstem all finished with your choice of spiced blackberry, apple & vanilla crumble served with vanilla ice cream or custard or an affogato of vanilla ice cream with a shot of Toasting Room espresso!

Pasta-Making Workshop with Alan Rosenthal

Join Alan Rosenthal from Truro School Cookery School for a fun and interactive pasta-making workshop designed for pairs—either two adults or an adult and child (ages 10 and up). In this 1.5-hour hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch, expertly cut it into tagliatelle, and prepare a delicious, authentic carbonara sauce. After all your hard work, sit down together to enjoy your homemade creation for lunch. This is the perfect experience for duos looking to learn new skills and share a memorable time in the kitchen at the Truro Food Festival!
