SPONSORS

Truro Food Festival is built on collaboration. We’re incredibly proud to work with a brilliant group of sponsors and partners who share our passion for Cornwall, its food and drink, its independent businesses and the people behind them.

THE ALVERTON

Perched on the hill just a short stroll from Truro’s city centre, The Alverton is a historic four-star hotel with character, charm and award-winning hospitality. Once a convent, the Grade II listed building has been beautifully transformed into a welcoming space that blends tradition with modern comfort.

From elegant rooms and suites to the acclaimed restaurant and cocktail bar, The Alverton is known for its exceptional food, warm service and stunning setting. The hotel has become a destination in its own right — whether you’re stopping in for afternoon tea, a Sunday roast, or a fine dining experience showcasing the very best of Cornwall’s seasonal produce.

As proud supporters of Truro Food Festival, The Alverton continues to champion Cornwall’s thriving food scene, celebrating local talent and ingredients while offering guests an unforgettable stay in the heart of the county.

BUTTERMARKET

The Buttermarket is bringing new life, new flavours and plenty of energy to the heart of Redruth – and we’re hugely proud to have them as a Supporting Partner of Truro Food Festival 2026.

Part of Redruth Revival CIC, the Buttermarket has transformed a historic market building into Cornwall’s first food hall – bringing together six independent kitchens, a bar, live music, markets, events and a growing community of food businesses and creatives.

At its heart is a simple idea we really connect with: giving independent businesses the space and opportunity to grow. Each kitchen is its own business, with its own food, people and ideas behind it, creating a brilliant mix of flavours under one roof.

There’s plenty of history behind those walls, too. Redruth’s Grade II-listed Buttermarket dates back to 1825–26 and, following an ambitious restoration, is once again doing what a great market should do – bringing people, independent businesses and the wider community together.

That shared ethos is what makes this partnership such a natural fit. Truro Food Festival might bring Cornwall’s food community together for five big days in September, but places like the Buttermarket champion those same independent businesses all year round. In fact, you’ll recognise some of the businesses from the Buttermarket kitchens trading with us at the festival and across our other events.

For 2026, The Buttermarket is supporting our Live Music Stage and Street Food area, helping us create five days of great food, music and festival atmosphere in the heart of Truro.

And the connection doesn’t have to end when the festival does. The Buttermarket is just one train stop away in Redruth, with independent food, drink and events to discover throughout the year.

Go hungry.

THE CORNISH TENT CO

For 2026, we wanted our Chef’s Theatre to feel like much more than a stage – and The Cornish Tent Co are helping us create something really special in the heart of Truro.
Based here in Cornwall, The Cornish Tent Co create beautiful outdoor spaces for weddings, celebrations and events, with their distinctive canvas tipis, natural wooden furniture and relaxed approach to outdoor gatherings.
This year, they’re bringing some of that magic to Truro Food Festival as an Official Partner, helping us completely reimagine the home of our chefs.
At the centre of it all will be our new Chef’s Tipi, creating a warm, atmospheric space for five days of live cooking, conversations and some of the brilliant people behind Cornwall’s food scene.
And when the daytime demos finish, the space will take on a new life. Our brand-new Feast Nights arrive for 2026, bringing chefs and guests together around the table for intimate evenings of food, fire and shared dining.
Canvas overhead, long wooden tables, fire pits glowing and food being cooked and shared around you – we want this corner of Lemon Quay to feel relaxed, sociable and a little bit magical.
We’re hugely grateful to The Cornish Tent Co for helping us bring the idea to life. We can’t wait for you to see it.

BIG GREEN EGG

We’re thrilled to welcome Big Green Egg as one of our sponsors for Truro Food Festival 2025! Known for their iconic ceramic barbecues, Big Green Egg has become a go-to for chefs and home cooks who love bold flavours, live-fire cooking, and serious versatility. Whether it’s slow-smoked brisket, wood-fired pizzas, or seared seafood, the Egg turns outdoor cooking into an art form.

Throughout the festival weekend, you’ll be able to catch some of our top chefs in action on the Big Green Egg stage—serving up mouth-watering dishes and showing just how powerful this bit of kit really is. Come and see why it’s loved by Michelin-starred chefs and weekend grillers alike. Smoky, sizzling, and seriously delicious—this is outdoor cooking, dialled all the way up.

BUDVAR

Great food deserves a great beer – which is why we’re very proud to welcome Budweiser Budvar as the Official Beer & Lager Partner of Truro Food Festival 2026.

Budvar is the original Czech lager from České Budějovice – or Budweis – a city with centuries of brewing history behind it. Since 1895, every drop of Budvar has been brewed in the same place, and today the brewery remains proudly independent and Czech-owned.

Like so many of the brilliant producers we celebrate at the festival, it all starts with the ingredients. Budvar Original is brewed with whole-cone Saaz hops, Moravian malting barley, a heritage lager yeast and pure water drawn from an Ice Age aquifer beneath the brewery.

Then comes something you can’t rush: time. Budvar is traditionally brewed and given an extended period of cold conditioning, developing the full flavour, balance and crisp finish that have made Czech lager famous around the world.

That attention to provenance, ingredients and doing things properly feels right at home at a food festival.

So this September, alongside some of the best food Cornwall has to offer, we wanted the beer in your glass to stand up alongside it.

We’re hugely proud to have Budweiser Budvar pouring at Truro Food Festival 2026. Na zdraví!
