SECURITY
We take the safety and security of our traders seriously, and we have the following measures in place for Truro Food Festival 2025:
-
Overnight Security: The festival site is secured overnight, with professional security present from the close of trading until the site reopens the following morning.
-
Trader Responsibility: All stock and equipment are left overnight at your own risk. We strongly advise you to:
-
Remove any cash from the site each evening.
-
Ensure your cabin is locked securely each night using the padlock provided.
-
If you are trading from the Producer Marquee, please bring a cloth or cover to place over your display overnight.
-
- Food Traders – Important Note:
If you are leaving any food on site overnight, it must be stored in sealed, airtight containers (not cardboard). Please do not leave any food exposed or accessible — we are in a city centre and any unsealed food left out will attract rats and other pests. This includes both raw ingredients and packaged goods. -
Marquee Access: The marquee will be opened and closed daily by event marshals. Please do not attempt to access it outside of official opening times.
-
Valuable Items: If you are leaving stock or valuable items overnight, ensure they are packed away neatly and securely to minimise any risk.
While we are doing all we can to keep the site safe and secure, we recommend taking sensible precautions to protect your own stock and equipment.
